1 · Session conditions

Apple traded between $313.33 and $306.24 across the session, so screenshots taken at different points differ by a few dollars. This is disclosed on the pages themselves.

Discrepancy on the record. Investing.com brand documentation cites 17 models. The product showed 14 active out of 19 available for this company, and the count appears to vary by company and by data availability. The rule that follows: publish the counted number with the company named, never a general claim.

Error found, and confirmed on a second date

10 August 2026. The comparison table listed the analyst mean of $322.82 against -4.6%, while the commentary in the same row described mild upside. The base for the percentage was not visible in the capture, so this was published as an unexplained inconsistency rather than as an error.

11 August 2026, second session. The question asked was whether Apple is overvalued right now and what analysts think. The answer contradicted itself internally.

Where What it said
Summary paragraph, top of answer Analysts see just a -4.6% downside to their average target
Analyst targets bullet, same answer The average price target is $322.53, just 4.6% upside
Price stated in the same answer $308.26
Investing.com sidebar, same moment Price Target 322.28 · Upside +4.55%

The arithmetic: 322.53 against 308.26 is +4.63%. The body and the sidebar are correct. The summary paragraph has the sign inverted, and the magnitude matches in all three places.

Conclusion recorded. The failure is in the summarising layer, not in the underlying data, which was right in two displays out of three. This gets rechecked at the 90 day pass on 8 November 2026 and the outcome published either way.

Sidebar, same session, 11 August 2026. Company Health: Good. Fair Value: Fair, Fair Price 267.89, Upside -13.10%. Technical Analysis: Strong Sell. Analysts Sentiment: Buy, Price Target 322.28, Upside +4.55%. Three signals pointing in three directions on one sidebar, which is worth noting as presentation rather than as error.

Chart quality, 11 August 2026. The answer rendered three charts. One carried no title. One showed a flat line from 2024 to 2025 that reads as a missing data point rather than as a trend. The price chart used a y axis starting at zero, which flattened a roughly fifteen percent quarterly move into a near straight line. Not errors, but poor presentation in a paid research product.

Credits, 11 August 2026. The counter read 10 of 500 before the question, the same as the 10 August session, indicating either a monthly reset or no consumption in between.

Two similarly named metrics exist. Fair Value (InvestingPro) filters on the dollar figure, while Fair Value Upside (InvestingPro) filters on the percentage gap. Selecting the first produces a screen that filters essentially nothing.

Investing.com marketing cites 1,200+ metrics. That figure is not verifiable inside the product and is therefore not reproduced as fact anywhere on the site.

11 · Pricing, refunds and cancellation · read at source 10 August 2026

Prices are not retrievable. The InvestingPro pricing page returns no price in its server HTML. The plan panel shows a loading state and the discount headline renders empty, then fills client side and is localised by country and currency. A sale was live at the time, branded as the August sale, with a countdown. No InvestingPro price figure is published anywhere on this site as a result. Figures found on affiliate pages on the same day ranged from roughly $91 to roughly $293 a year, each with its own coupon code applied.

Refunds, per the Investing.com support article updated 9 August 2026. InvestingPro services are provided on a non-refundable basis. Cancellation is possible at any time, after which the subscription does not renew beyond the current billing period, and paid access remains active until that period ends.

Refunds, per the Investing.com terms and conditions. The terms state in capitals that no refund is due once the subscription is completed, that auto-renewal can be cancelled at any time, and that by subscribing the member receives immediate access and waives any right of withdrawal. Elsewhere the terms allow cancellation of auto-renewal up to 24 hours before the billing date.

The 7 day money-back guarantee is not corroborated. It appears on multiple affiliate pages. It does not appear in the official terms or in the official support article as of 10 August 2026, where the non-refundable statement is what is published. Both documents get rechecked at the next 90 day pass before this changes.

Cancellation path, per the support article. InvestingPro homepage, username icon top right, Plan Summary, Cancel Subscription. Deactivating or deleting the Investing.com account does not cancel the subscription. App store purchases must be cancelled through the app store that processed the payment.

Metric counts, resolved. Investing.com's own pricing page distinguishes 1,200+ stock data metrics and 10 years of history across 72,000+ stocks from a screener that filters through 167 metrics. The two are routinely conflated in third-party reviews. Our session found no metric count displayed anywhere in the screener interface, which remains true.

Other first-party claims on the pricing page, recorded and not republished. Averages 17 valuation models · 180,000+ instruments queried by WarrenAI · 25+ years of historical data · $4M a year data sourcing cost · 300K+ investors · 4.7/5 from 1.2M reviews · Trustpilot 4.1/5. Our counted screener universe was 152,080 instruments and our counted active models for AAPL was 14 of 19 available.
