Affiliate commission
Some links to brokers and investing tools may be partner links. If you open an account or subscribe through one, we may receive a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change the price you pay.
Where a page contains partner links, a disclosure appears at the top of that page, above the first link rather than buried at the bottom.
The rules that come with it
We aim to have a relationship with every provider we cover, not one. A site paid by a single company has a structural reason to favour it. A site paid by all of them earns either way, which removes the incentive rather than merely promising to resist it.
Rankings are decided before commercial terms are looked at. The methodology on how we test is fixed in advance, and a provider paying more does not move up.
We publish the unflattering result. If a partner is the wrong choice for a particular investor, the page says so. Pages that only ever conclude in favour of whoever pays are brochures, and readers work that out quickly.
No paid placements, no sponsored posts, no paid reviews. Nobody can buy a mention here, and nobody gets to see a page before it goes up.
Commission rates are never published as a reason to choose something. What we earn is our business and is irrelevant to what you should do.
Free tools
The portfolio tracker is free with no paid version and no upsell. It asks for an email address so we can send you the link, and that address is used to send occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time. It is not sold or shared. See the privacy policy.
What we do not do
No display advertising, no pop-ups, no newsletter sponsorships, no data selling. If that changes it will be written here first.
Current relationships
As of 3 August 2026 no affiliate programme has been joined and no link on this site earns us a commission. Nothing here is a partner link yet.
That will change, and when it does every programme will be named on this page on the day its first link goes live, with the date it was added. A site that says "some links may be affiliate links" has told you nothing you can check.
